Building systems that scale
One of my favorite games is Factorio. The satisfaction is not just getting a factory to work once - it is designing a system that can be scaled up and still work cleanly.
That same instinct shows up in the way I approach technical and analytical problems. I like starting with an ambiguous question, identifying the possible solutions, deciding what criteria matter, and looking for the option that is both effective now and durable as conditions change.
I am most engaged by work that leaves room for focused thinking: finding bottlenecks, comparing tradeoffs, and building systems that can handle more than their first use case.
