Making music

I started out interested in dubstep around 2022. While trying to learn it, I kept encountering hardstyle bootlegs on SoundCloud, which eventually led me to Frenchcore. By my sophomore year of college, I was teaching myself to make Frenchcore remixes.

What I enjoy most about remixing is reinterpretation. I can begin with a song that already means something to me, then reshape it into a version that fits my own taste: the energy, structure, and feeling I want to hear.

I have also made an original euphoric Frenchcore track with orchestral influences. That project was a different kind of challenge. A remix gives you a starting point, but an original means creating the melody, arrangement, and momentum from a blank canvas.

There is something satisfying about making a version of a song that could only have come from my own taste. It is a small way to practice having a point of view instead of only learning the rules. I publish independently and make music on my own terms, which lets it stay creative instead of turning into an obligation.
